J. Hank Ambrose has responsibility for advocacy and implementation of strategic regulatory initiatives. Hank has over 30 years experience in telecommunications with AT&T, Bell of Pennsylvania, Bell Atlantic and Verizon Washington, DC. He began his career with AT&T in New York as a staff specialist in the Business Research Division. He has held various assignments of increasing responsibility in business research and state and federal regulatory.
Prior to his current assignment, Hank was a loaned executive to the National Industry council for Science Education, where as executive director, he developed corporate memberships, planned executive board and annual meetings and coordinated activities of working groups.
In addition to being a member of the Board of Advisors for The George Washington University School of Business EDP, he also serves on the Advisory Board for the District of Columbia Building Industry Association. He is a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Chair of the Budget Ministry for Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is a Returned Peace Corps volunteer, with service as a lecturer in mathematics at Kenyatta College, Nairobi, Kenya. He is a former lecturer at Temple University and former adjunct professor at Strayer University. |
