D. Jeffrey Lenn is a professor of strategic management and public policy at The George Washington University. He has been on the faculty at Boston College, University of Massachusetts and University of Connecticut. In the fall semester of 1995, he was Fulbright Professor of Management at Peoples University in Beijing, China. Dr. Lenn’s teaches courses in strategic management, business-government relations, multinational corporate strategy, organization theory and managerial ethics at the masters and doctoral levels. His areas of expertise include business and public policy, business-government relations, strategic management, corporate public affairs, managerial ethics and managing the Chinese enterprise. His research in the areas of strategic management, corporate political strategy, issues management, organizational change and business ethics has been published in major management journals and books. He also has extensive experience in writing cases about corporate management. Select publications include The Globalization of Business and Work Ethics: Navigating Gentle Breezes and Turbulent Storms.” Preparing for Employability: The Application of Business, Work, and Career Ethics Program Proceedings, Bloemfontein, South Africa: Free State Technikon, 2000. He is active in various professional organizations including the Academy of International Business, the Academy of Management, the Eastern Academy of Management, the International Association for Business and Society, and the Society for Values in Higher Education and is a member of the editorial boards of The Review of Business and The Journal of Public Affairs and also reviews for a number of management journals.
