Mr. Leonard is experienced both as a law firm leader and a practicing lawyer. He joined Hildebrandt International following a 26-year career with Morrison & Foerster. After practicing law at Morrison for 15 years as a general corporate partner, he was the firm’s Chairman from 1984 through 1993. Mr. Leonard was named one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America by The National Law Journal. He is the Chairman and Director of The Hildebrandt Institute, the educational arm of Hildebrandt International dedicated to leadership and skills development for managing partners and practice leaders. Mr. Leonard is based in the Company’s San Francisco office.
His areas of expertise include strategic planning, management and governance, and leadership and management. Mr. Leonard received his B.S. from the University of Kansas, J.D. at the Hastings College of the Law, University of California, Order of the Coif. He currently serves as the, Editor-in-Chief of the Hastings Law Journal.
