POST MASTER'S CERTIFICATE

The Post Master's Certificate program has been specifically designed to provide GWSB, MBA, and MS alumni an opportunity to enhance their previous graduate study and keep pace with today’s business climate of rapid change, obstacles, and opportunities.

Alumni take coursework in any GWSB department or program at a discounted 50 percent tuition rate. The University requires at least 12 credits to be taken after the Masters degree to earn a Post Master's Certificate.

GWSB Masters degree alumni may enroll in a package of at least four courses or 12 credit hours and receive transcripts and a graduate certificate as credentials. This program is designed both for retoolers and continuous learners. There are various four-course package suggestions in a variety of areas such as Finance, International Business, Accounting, Marketing, and E-Commerce. Alumni can also design their own program, drawing on the large list of 175 plus graduate courses offered by GWSB. Please note all courses must be taken at the Foggy Bottom campus.

Students may participate in the Post Master's Certificate on either a full time or part time basis. Once entered in the certificate program, a student is expected to be continuously enrolled (including summer semesters) and be actively engaged in fulfilling all program requirements. Students who are not able to enroll in at least one course each semester may request a leave of absence from the program. This must be requested in writing to the EDP office prior to taking the leave of absence. If students do not notify EDP or do not attend classes when they are admitted, they cannot reapply to the program for 5 years.
