- Who Is Eligible:
GWU faculty and qualified researchers from other academic institutions, the
private sector, and international and multinational organizations. Applicants are encouraged to submit collaborative and/or
multidisciplinary proposals.

Eligible Projects:
Theory- and policy-oriented research on the European Union, its member states,
US-EU transatlantic relations and other contemporary EU related issues. The Center’s multidisciplinary focus encourages analysis and policy
dialogue of these topics in a variety of fields, including political science,
economics, business, finance, law, science and technology, public health and
others. Topics include but are not
limited to:
- EU Economic and Monetary Union and the Euro;
- EU Enlargement;
- EU Integration and Harmonization;
- EU Foreign and Security Policy;
- US-EU Transatlantic Relations;
- EU Trade and Investment; and
- EU Human Rights Law;
- Funding:
Awards will be given to the author(s) of each project selected. The number of and size of awards will depend on the availability of
funding in any given year.
- Proposal
Requirements:
- Cover page with title, contact information and affiliation of author(s).
- Description of project (not more than 2 pages and 12 font point)
containing the following:
- Summary of topic
- Description of proposed project in relation to other working
papers/publications
- Detailed budget with project schedule
- Author(s) C.V.
(The
2 page description should not include author(s)’ name or affiliation)

Review And Selection Procedures:
- Proposal submission deadline: All year at EURC Office, 2033 K
Street, NW, Suite 230.
- Notification
selection decisions: Within approximately 45 days of submission.
- All
qualified proposals will be evaluated through a “blind review” process. The Director and Associate Director of EURC will organize the Proposal
Review and Selection Committee. The author(s) of selected projects will receive a letter stating the terms and
conditions of the award.
- Dissemination: Selected project authors must submit a summary report within 30 days of project
end-date. The summary reports will be made available to the GW community and the general public through the
Internet and in the form of printed copies.

Funding Program Name: EURC Global Management
Research Working Paper Series Grants
- Who
Is Eligible: GWU faculty and their co-authors from other universities and/or
public and private institutions. Collaboration within GW and with those
from outside the school is encouraged. Papers submitted to journals may be
submitted as working papers. Papers accepted by journals may be submitted
as working papers up to six months before the expected date of journal
publication. Authors of working papers are limited to two honoraria awards
per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). There is no limit on the number of
papers an author may submit to the series.
- Eligible Projects : Authors of working papers that address
emerging management issues of global and regional significance, as well as
facilitate the understanding of these issues within the public and private
sector, are invited to submit such papers. Scholarly management research
on the European Union, its member states, US-EU transatlantic relations and other contemporary EU related issues. The Center’s multidisciplinary focus encourages analysis and policy
dialogue of these topics in a variety of fields, including political science,
economics, business, finance, law, science and technology, public health and
others, as long as implications for management is clear. Topics include but are not
limited to:

- EU
Foreign and Security Policy;
- US-EU Transatlantic Relations; and
- EU Trade and Investment;
- Funding: For each working paper accepted, the author(s) will
receive an aggregate honorarium of $2,500. The honorarium is given in
recognition of the quality of research undertaken by the author(s) and to
offset expenses associated with research.
